Jessica Pratt, Leo Nucci Rigoletto 2012

The fantastic Australian coloratura Jessica Pratt is teamed with the great Verdi baritone Leo Nucci for this Rigoletto from Parma 2012. In grand fashion, Nucci and Pratt supply us with an encore of “si, vendetta.” A thrilling performance from both artists!

Saying Goodbye to Daniela Dessi

Daniela Dessi RIP

I only had one opportunity to see Daniela Dessi live, and she certainly made a tremendous impression. She was a strikingly beautiful woman who knew how to command the stage like few others I’ve seen. Her career spanned a huge repertory, but she will probably be most remembered for the dramatic heroines of Verdi and Puccini.

Below you will find a small tribute to the great soprano, along with some classic performances including a Concert with Sabbatini from Tokyo, La Traviata from Tokyo, Maria Stuarda from Barcelona and Act III of La Boheme with Pavarotti.
