I only had one opportunity to see Daniela Dessi live, and she certainly made a tremendous impression. She was a strikingly beautiful woman who knew how to command the stage like few others I’ve seen. Her career spanned a huge repertory, but she will probably be most remembered for the dramatic heroines of Verdi and Puccini.
Below you will find a small tribute to the great soprano, along with some classic performances including a Concert with Sabbatini from Tokyo, La Traviata from Tokyo, Maria Stuarda from Barcelona and Act III of La Boheme with Pavarotti.
